Staying out all day
Wee~ Woke up at 7.30am yesterday. Why? I had to go to Lavender to renew my passport. Met up with marvin and han song at lavender at around 9.30am. Went into the building and you know what? The area:people ratio can fight with the orchard area, damn crowded. Had my passport photo taken there and it cost $5.35. We sat at the waiting area and watched kids central. It was showing power rangers and the 3 of us watched with excitement. Lol. It sounded like we had no childhood. But the power rangers now are all very “high tech” looking. Not like those in our time. Ok. our numbers were called and i happily went to the counter. Sat down and passed all the things needed and wait for the instructions. The person than told me that the expiry date of my passport was not clear and had to go to level 2 to ask for help. I had no choice but to go down a level. Started queuing again to ask for help. When reached, i was told that my passport cannot be renewed and need to make a new one. It cost 73 freaking bucks to make a new passport. And since i’m using cash to pay, i had to make my way to the other end and queue again. So after all’s been done, we left the place to eat.
Went to bugis junction to have my lunch with Han Song and his gf. I felt like a blinding light bulb when we were eating. Looking at them so lovey-dovey makes me feel like i’m missing someone in my life. I was suppose to meet up with yee meng to go to Sim Lim square to help him in replacing his motherboard. Since he hadn’t reached yet and the couple wanted to go to Sim Lim tower to buy some bread board, i led them to the place. Bought a 1 litre of chocolate milk on the way to Sim Lim tower. After they had bought their stuff, yee meng called me that he’s reaching. So i decided to walk back to bugis for i have time spare. The 3 of us than started walking back to the starting point. Only after we reached bugis i realised that yee meng had miss call me 3 times. I phoned him and only to hear that he had reached Sim Lim square. What to do? I had no choice but to walk back there alone. We than met up at the food court below Sim Lim and he ordered chicken rice. The place was so packed that there’s barely space for us to sit. After he finished eating, we went up and went to a friendly shop – bells system. The helpers there are much more friendly than most of the shop’s helpers. We confronted one of the staff there and he told us how to check what is the problem and suggested that we bring the cpu down today and let them check. Everything last about 20mins and we were done.
It was 2++ and we had nothing to do. We then decided to take some pictures at the back alleys of the houses and walk around to find a good place to capture with yee meng’s holga. Walk, walk, walk. We were engross in taking pictures that we ended up in little india. We continued to walk and take photos and even passed by LTA at some ulu place. We move on down the road and ended up at KK hospital. Don’t even know how we ended up there. Since we were already there and it would be a long way back to bugis, we continue our journey to dunno where. We kept walking and taking pictures and we reached little india mrt station. From the opposite side, we crossed over and yee meng found a very noce spot to take photos. It was a shed underneath a huge tree with vines dangling. He then saw a flight of stairs and he went to take a picture of it. Right after he finished taking his photo, a malay/indian (our different views) security guard came and question us. He asked why we were taking photos and even told us that the there’s devil inside the building. He also continue on and said that the shed are where the ghosts are and the photos taken might not have been clear. Oh, he told us that if we want to see the devil than we had to go there at night. To those who wants to hunt for ghost or even better, devil, travel to little india and exit( dunno which exit). Outside the station there’s a old chang kee shop nearby and a second hand car dealer opposite on the right after u exit.
4++ and there’s still around 2 hours till we meet up with the rest. The film was all used up and our legs were screaming. We alight at city hall and walked to bras bahsa (dunno how to spell) We took a rest there while yee meng went to withdraw some cash for later use. Walked around swee lee and art friends, a music shop and an art shop. Shared a 1.5 litre of plain water and went to the carpark to change the film. You must be thinking, out of so many places to change the films, we had to go to carpark and change. Well, that’s the darkest place we could find so that it would not be exposed to light.
At 5.35pm, ridwan called me and ask where we were as he couldn’t find anyone at the meeting place. After he reached, i asked him to meet us halfway through. It was a good thing to call him or we would passed by him without knowing. We than met up with the rest and went to marina square. We had a hard time finding the seoul garden there and we basically cleared the bottom level only to find it outside the shopping centre. lol. After filling our stomaches, we went to esplanande and chill. Surprisingly, we didn’t emo much at that place took some pictures and went to the nearby bridge to take even more photos. That’s the end of our outing and we left the place. oh, in case you are curious who went, there’s jia zheng, alison, jonathan, michelle, lester, nadira, yee meng, ling xuan, fiona and me.
Was supposed to go to Sim Lim square with yee meng today but in the end i wasn’t sure if he went for we didn’t plan a time to meet. My legs are aching now. Damn. Alright, now for the word of the day.
